Nightlife in The Village
Unique Dining Experiences, Caribbean Style Beach Bars and the Island’s only Night Club, The Beach Club, a Siesta Key Tradition for 70 years
There’s plenty to do on Siesta Key during the day, but once the sun goes down, a whole new world opens up. This island paradise offers an entertaining nightlife experience with a little something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a good place for a dinner date or a fun spot to grab drinks with friends, Siesta Key has a unique collection of restaurants and bars ready to welcome Siesta vacation rentals guests.
The Village is a short walk to Sunset Beach. As the name suggests, visitors head to Sunset beach to watch the sunset over the horizon. Head over after dinner and drinks in the Village for an evening you’ll never forget! Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures to share with your friends.
The Village is home to several unique dining experiences. Most offer live music to create a great atmosphere for your dinner and drinks. In fact, you’ll be able to enjoy the music even if you’re just walking by! All of these Siesta Key traditions are our favorite places to eat:
The Beach Club
For those who love good music, good drinks and handmade pizza, The Beach Club won’t disappoint. High-profile Florida DJs are on-site and spinning seven days a week, along with local musicians and, every so often, a big-name star. A huge dance floor and very reasonable drink prices make this an oft-visited spot.
Blase´ Pizza & Craft Beer
This hip pizza place is the perfect meet-up for groups of friends taking in all that Siesta Key has to offer. They serve counter-style and their thin-crust pies are made with lots of interesting toppings and sauces that let you get creative!
Cafe Gabbiano Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar
When you need a good “Siesta Hour,” you’ll find Cafe Gabbiano ready to serve you a delicious array of bellinis, martinis, and other beverages. If you’re more in the mood for food, the Cafe´ boasts an impressive menu full of Italian meals and appetizers.
This remains a favorite location for both locals and tourists. Dine inside or out on the patio for Peruvian tapas including tuna tiradito, lobster roll, lobster bisque, kimchi mash, short ribs, ceviche…all fresh and delicious. Live music on occasion.
The Daiquiri Deck
As the quintessential Siesta Key hotspot, you’ll find The Daiquiri Deck (as the name implies) features an impressive number of daiquiri recipes, along with beach-friendly fare like lobster, shrimp, oysters, and calamari. The Daiquiri Deck is a venue for all ages!
Gilligan’s Island Bar & Grill
This bar & grill with a tiki-style adult ambience features a laid-back vibe while you listen to live music. Enjoy casual fare indoors or thanks to the restaurant’s deck, you can dine outdoors, as well.
The Hub Baja Grill
Menu features fresh seafood and Mexican dishes to enjoy indoors or out on the deck. Look for live music on occasion for vacation dining at its best.
The Old Salty Dog
This old Florida favorite features a varied menu of fresh American and seafood dishes, not to mention their quintessential Salty Dogs and other refreshing beer, wine and spirits. Did I mention the “best waitstaff ever?” Enjoy the great beach atmosphere inside or out.
Ooh La La French Bakery
If you’re looking for a quaint place with friendly people and delicious savory and sweet treats, Ooh La La is for you. We recommend the quiche and bread pudding – the best we’ve ever tasted!
Siesta Key Oyster Bar
If you’re a fan of live music, you’re going to love what locals call “SKOB.” Siesta Key Oyster Bar is a more laid-back spot for those who want some tunes with their food. There’s a large, varied menu, a generous amount of beers on tap, and the promise of a good time without the flashing lights of a dance club. And if you’re a musician yourself, take note: Tuesdays are Open Mic Night, so bring both your appetite and your guitar.
